These are images of my artist, styled as he will be in the music video; this being with the hat, grey hoodie and a messy style of hair.
I chose this genre because i thought it would be more of a challenge and would allow me to express my creativity and imagination when it came to the digipak, poster and music video.
In comparison, these are photos of existing artists/bands from the same genre I am aiming towards:
The photograph below of the indie band The Shape Of The Earth, also styled in a very similar way; Hooded tops, slight gristle of facial hair and messy hair.
I also decided I was going to base all styling of my artist on the way 'The Kooks' are styled, because I researched into them and discovered that their style represented their music; relaxed and alternative. This is exactly the style I was aiming for so therefor they have been a big influence in my decisions.
