Song Cut/Edit

Today I cut about 20seconds out of the song introduction, I felt like the shots were too repetitive and after having 30 seconds of fast paced shots in the introduction anyway I felt this was necessary to get to the lyrics quicker.
I used GarageBand which is an apple software, the software was completely new to me but after watching youtube tutorials on the software I feel a lot more comfortable with it and have accomplished what I wanted to today. The trickiest part was getting the song to sound like there was nothing ever cut out of it, especially as it is quite an upbeat song.
